If you are following the syllabus, you will see that a “critique” is due Thursday. I am moving the deadline back to Saturday, so you have a little time to complete the assignment.

You can choose any of the stories that we have read so far this semester to write your critique about. Please just make sure that the story is one that is on the syllabus, anything from “The Goophered Grapevine through the Robert Frost poetry. Please choose something you feel passionate about and go into detail. Please read the Critique rubric and follow the directions. I am including an example of a critique from a previous student. You want to be sure to include one quotation from the reading in your critique.

Please email me if you have any questions.
